Live Review: Eileen Carey at Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood, CA
Material: Eileen Carey is a country pop-rock Ohio-to-Los Angeles transplant, and that aspect is consistent throughout her musical style. She subtly layers her tracks with hints of beach-y California elements that give off a Pat Benatar-goes-western type of vibe.

There’s an undeniable nostalgia to the song and the video syncs perfectly with the melodic pop/country tune. Album review: Let It Go by Eileen Carey
Country. Pop. Rock. Eileen Carey’s music blends all three styles together in a way that feels uniquely hers. I’ve just been trying to think if there’s any other artists out there like her right now and I can’t think of any. Eileen grew up in Ohio and relocated to California over 20 years ago. An independent artist, she has made quite a name for herself in California.

“Faith” Video, Country Pop Star Eileen Carey
Sisterly Sage: In New “Faith” Video, Country Pop Star Eileen Carey Encourages Women to have Faith in themselves and move-on from a bad relationship.
(Los Angeles, CA) – November 16, 2015
The MuseBox today announced that rising California country star Eileen Carey has released the music video for “Faith,”her new and already charting inspirational single that encourages women to find independence and strength in themselves. Carey’s last two music videos, “Bottle Your Crazy Up” and the feel-good summer release “Party at the Beach,” have accumulated more than 75,000 Youtube views. “Faith” jumped into the Top 20 on the NMW country radio charts, Top 10 Indie, and the NMW Adult Contemporary and Hot AC charts. “Faith” also made an appearance on Music Row’s Country Breakout chart and entered the international Wildhorse Entertainment Superstars of Country out of South Africa at #33.
Earlier this year, Carey’s “Bottle Your Crazy Up” reached #1 nationally, where it competed with major-label country performers. Carey’s three released singles are from Let It Go, her most successful album to date. Carey won The Academia Music Awards Best Country/Rock Song of the Year for “Bottle Your Crazy Up.” Akadamia.com called Carey’s composition and performance “a clever country jam with dulcet vocals and superb instrumentation, illustrating one of the most stringent performance standards we’ve encountered.”
According to Carey, “Faith” is an encouragement to women to trust in themselves, rather than in the men who are not necessarily good for them:
“I like to give people a positive outlook on life. So many people accept their fate, but I insist that there is no need to – especially if you have faith in yourself. “Faith” is a sisterly boost to every woman who’s working overtime to try to get the wrong man’s attention.”
The music video for “Faith” was filmed at Carey’s producer Travis Allen Childress’ recording studio in Montrose, California. It was directed and produced by Taner Tumkaya, the same director who worked on Carey’s “Party at the Beach” lyric video.
Carey has also started posting in her new blog, www.TheMusicMom.com. The mission of The Music Mom is consistent with Carey’s “Faith” video in that it reveals Carey’s desire to give of her experience and wisdom.

Eileen Carey Answers Digital Rodeo’s “Inquiring Minds Want To Know” Questions
One of the hardest thing for human beings to learn is how and when to let things go. So when an artist like Eileen Carey comes along with a powerful message about doing just that, it’s a welcomed sight. The award-winning California-based singer/songwriter’s fourth and latest album LET IT GO features songs which follow through on the theme on letting go of those ties that bind us to the past and perhaps no song is more evident than the title track, “Let It Go,” a thumping up-tempo country pop tune about forgetting the small things or events from our past that lead to insecurities and indecisions of life.
